This is the story firstly of Maureen Wise, who has spent much of her life as a missionary to Eastern Europe, in particular Moldova. This poorest of European countries has experienced spiritual revival in the years following the fall of Communism. However Maureen’s work has been especially with the disabled, and the book is a testimony to the power of God at work in the lives of some of these people, and the loving Christians who have served them.
